Terms and Conditions

Rates for tours depend upon distances travelled, numbers in the car and the time of year. Once I have the basic information of the tour and numbers, a cost will be provided. At that stage, an invoice for 10% non-returnable deposit will be forwarded for payment to SECURE the dates in the diary.

On tour with luggage if there are 6-7 people in the vehicle, the amount of luggage will have to be advised. The V Class Mercedes 250d (Extra Long) takes a ton of luggage but if golf clubs are added to the mix, for example, then a trailer may need to be hired.

All Scottish Tours

Client to cover expenditure on daytime food – lunch, coffee etc (I love chocolate by the way) Any ferry crossing which forms part of the agreed itinerary will be paid in entirety by the client. For coach tours, accommodation and food are the responsibility of the client who will also be responsible for out-of-pocket expenses should the group require to be met outside Edinburgh.

Any deposit will not be refunded. The final balance will be required 2 months before the tour commencement. Cancellation of tour with no further penalty is acceptable up to 3 months before scheduled beginning. If the tour is cancelled within 2 months of the tour then 50% of the tour cost will be due and 1 month of scheduled beginning, the full amount is due.

To secure the dates in the diary a 10% non-returnable deposit is required. Where accommodation/trains/ferries have been booked, an additional invoice will be sent to cover these expenses. The Final balance will be required to be paid 2 months before the start of the tour.

Only British cheques are acceptable. Cash payment or direct bank transfer in sterling are the preferred options. Credit card payments are not accepted. PayPal is acceptable with a 4% surcharge.
