How could a country with only 5.5 million people (7.5 million sheep) and only 1/3rd the size of Great Britain produce a huge list of inventions, innovations or discoveries that are recognised as Scottish? They range from Scientific to Shipbuilding, from Medical to Civil Engineering, from Household to Weapons; the list is endless.
